What Do You Know About Romeo is the product of two New York friends, Jennifer and Elaine.

Elaine and Jennifer met in Manhattan shortly after Jennifer moved to NYC through mutual girlfriends. At first meeting, Jennifer was a green Texan in NYC to follow her dreams, and Elaine was an Upper East Side designer and wife who had lived in NYC for 16 years.

One year later, everything was upside down. After 18 years of marriage, Elaine found herself back in the dating pool. Unsure of how to get back on the scene, Elaine joined an online dating site at the insistence of her friends. Jennifer, meanwhile, was happily married and listening intently to the entertaining stories told by her friends who were exploring the online dating scene.

Then one day it hit Elaine...why wasn't there a way to get feedback on these guys she was about to go out with? It sure would save her a lot of time and trouble. Jennifer agreed she was tired of having to nickname Elaine's dates things like 'Perv #1,' 'the cheapskate' or 'the comb over' after Elaine had some bizarre dating experience, so together they decided to form the What Do You Know Company.
